Students come to school excited to see familiar faces and eager to learn many new things. We have just returned from Christmas break and everyone is eager to learn new things!
It's so important to teach and model for our students how to love, work, learn, and live in a diverse world.
We as educators, work hard to make sure that each and every student feels safe, loved, important, and welcomed! My students go to school in a wonderful community! Being at school is the only positive that some of my students have, each day. Our school is a Title I school. That means that we have a majority of students coming from a low economical background. My students come to school with big smiles on their faces! I feel that school is the place to help them learn to become adults in the working field one day, but to also encourage their own dreaming and creativity.
My Project
These are general, every day materials, that students go through and use, on a daily basis.
There are several materials and supplies that are beneficial to students, to always be available for them to be able to use, daily.
If anyone has ever visited a school, you can imagine the amount of glue, paper, pencils, and erasers that students go through. It is just a bonus if teachers have the supplies ready for the students, the moment that a student may need an item.
Pencil pouches would be very helpful for students, to be able to have a pouch in their desk, that can hold their pencils, glue, and erasers.
Clorox wipes are an item, that just come in handy, for a teacher! They will help clean the students' desks, while fighting away germs.
Having these materials in my classroom and in reach for students to be able to have access to them would be beneficial and such a big blessing!
