This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Beanbag chairs and wobble stools provide a safe and inviting space for students with autism to deescalate and find solace during times of distress. By offering a sensory-friendly environment that promotes relaxation and comfort, beanbag chairs play a crucial role in supporting the emotional well-being and self-regulation of students with autism.
The goals for this project extend beyond simply acquiring beanbag chairs; they encompass creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
