This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students read every day. They have time to read in class. They also read for homework. Many students even choose to read when they are finished with work from other subjects instead of playing a computer game.

My students are highly motivated to read.

They are flying through the classroom library. I also have students reading at various reading levels. As a result, I need a lot of different books at every reading level.

After they finish a book, they can take a quiz on it using a computer program that has questions for just about every book. In this way, I can verify that they are actually reading the books and comprehending them as well.
