My Project

As the year comes to a close, my students are always looking for ways to improve our classroom and school community.

My 6th grade students really enjoy our novel studies, and they want to help make decisions about what books we read next.

Our book closet is a jumbled mess, and they want to help organize so we can see all of our choices! The book shelf in this project will help us organize our titles so we can see quickly what choices we have and how many students can participate. The beads and stickers are for kindness projects we have planned! The students like to hand out stickers on Friday to anyone who says hello and positively engages before the day starts. They also want to put together bead kits for our library, so students can stop in and make keychains during tutorial while they are browsing for a book or before school starts.
