Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 2nd grade students have worked hard all year long, and I want to celebrate everything they have accomplished with an end-of-year experience that feels fun, memorable, and well deserved. They have grown so much as learners, classmates, and individuals, and I want to send them into summer feeling proud, celebrated, and excited.

These beach-themed and sensory-friendly celebration items will help create a special day for my students while also giving them fun take-home gifts.

The sand buckets can be used as gift holders and take-home containers, while the temporary tattoos, sensory fidget balls, sea-themed scratch art, and bubble wands will give students fun ways to play, create, and celebrate together. These items will help turn our classroom celebration into something joyful and meaningful.

For many children, the little things matter. A bubble wand, a colorful bucket, or a fun craft can become part of a memory they carry with them long after the school year ends. This project is about more than treats and favors. It is about celebrating growth, recognizing effort, and making sure my students leave 2nd grade feeling seen, valued, and proud of how far they have come.

With your help, I can give my students an end-of-year celebration filled with fun, connection, and keepsakes that make the last days of school feel extra special.
