Help me give my students class copies of the book "Wonder". Wonder is an inspirational story that encourages kindness to everyone regardless of differences. This book will be used for our first unit of the year.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I will be teaching my 6th grade students exclusively with novels. Our first novel of the year will be Wonder by R.J. Palacio. My goal is for each student to have a physical copy of the book in their hands every day.
Empathy is the medicine the world needs.
Many students, and adults, struggle to have empathy for others. As a reading teacher, I have the power and tools to teach empathy through modern stories such as "Wonder."
My students come from a low-income area and we are a Title 1 school. However, this doesn't define our students. They are kind, curious and eager to learn. Help me provide them with a novel that has the power to change the way they empathize with others.
