My Project

I am preparing today's 5th graders for a successful transition to middle school next year. Many students struggle with basic executive functioning like keeping track of their classwork, staying organized, and focusing on the task at hand.

Help me give my students a positive learning environment, filled with a wide variety of tools and items to build their executive functioning.

Students of today have variable attention spans and difficulty self regulating their emotions. Items that soothe and comfort them in difficult times will enable them to focus on their academics. These small but meaningful changes will help improve their self regulation, increase their executive functioning, and ensure all students are on track for a successful future.
