Help me give my students fidgets, snacks, and other items to reward random acts of kindness seen throughout the school!

My Project

Our students have been performing random acts of kindness throughout the school and discussing the impacts they see from these acts. To encourage others in our school community to join in, our students are starting a kindness community service initiative where they will be vigilant throughout the day for random acts of kindness they see happening in our school. These acts could be picking up trash on the playground, holding the door for someone, giving an encouraging word to a friend, or comforting a student in the hallway. Each good deed promotes a sense of belonging, citizenship, and kindness that can be contagious.

In this stressful time of year, it is important to not overlook the power of kindness.

When a kind act is noticed, students can pass out a ticket to the student who performed the act which will allow them to come select a prize from the treat box sponsored in this project. Students will be able to select a prize based on their personal preferences to encourage continuous acts of kindness. We are excited to encourage, model, and search for the random acts of kindness and service that bring a positive and welcoming energy to each and every school day!
