My Students
My students are looking to use their individuality to become the best humans they can be. Through out this school year, my students have realized that they each have special qualities and traits that make them unique.
Especially because they all learn differently.
These children love to move, think, build and socialize with one another to share their very special ideas and thoughts. This helps them better understand one another and themselves. Each child in my class values different experiences and loves to share what they have learned. These kiddos definitely value one another's differences and celebrate them in our classroom!
My Project
This year my students and I have adopted the Flexible Seating model in our classroom. Since we are new to this model, our seating options are limited. I love to give my students various seating choices when learning through out the day. It helps them focus while maintaining comfort. Since my students have the freedom to move around the room on a daily basis, I know the Premiere Products 5RCAT Resin Convert-A-Bench would be a popular option due to its multifunctions.
This convert-a-bench is a 2 in 1 flexible seating option for the children.
It can be a bench during read aloud time and can double as a desk/table for when the children need a surface to lean and write. Since this type of seating allows up to four students, it is also ideal for group activities.
If our class was granted funding for this project, my students would be eternally grateful for the chance to learn and work in such a unique flexible seat.
