This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use the materials you give by putting it in my classroom bathroom so that girls don’t have to race to the nurse while they’re learning something important. Or don’t have to race to call home because they forgot to bring a pad. Most of the students come from the background of a single working mother working two jobs all day so for them to get their child when all they need is a pad isn’t helpful for their mom or for them because they’re missing school. I ask that you bless my students and give them a chance to feel comfortable by just having to grab a pad and not call home but to stay in school and learn. Please I strongly encourage you to give what you can to help female hygiene in my classroom. Thank you!
