This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I'm a kindergarten teacher from the most engaging, active and fun students. My students enjoy coming to school and learning has become the fun part of their day.

All of my students are quite spirited; that's how they excel at whatever activity they do.

They are happy children and their smiles are seen as the light in our class.

My kindergarteners are the most ambitious students, I am amazed at how they are becoming bilingual students. Diversity, empathy, integrity, respect, and determination are some of their strengths that describe the culture in my class.

My Project

In the last two years our work as educators has changed drastically. We live in times where flexibility is applied minute by minute and where pragmatism has become essential.

My kindergarten children attend school with the desire to learn, for many perhaps this is the first experience of education.

The resources we use have changed from a sheet of paper and a pencil to the use of personal chromebooks.

In our classroom each child has the opportunity to have a personal computer for specific activities, however the lack of a charging station has become a problem. My classroom needs a station where each child can charge and store their personal computer. I will help the children to have the material ready each day.
