Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each of my students has their own unique needs and style of learning. My students love the play-based learning environment where they can be hands-on and explore. I am looking to create a classroom for them where they come to school excited to learn and grow. I want to give my students the opportunity to have choices with more hands-on activities.

With these manipulatives, my students can use their creativity, share and play together (social skills), practice counting groups of 20, make groups of 10's and use their imagination.

All students learn differently, however, it is always helpful to have hands-on materials to help them physically work out what they are learning. In my class, we are always doing something hands-on. These materials will be very helpful when learning new concepts in our Kindergarten class.
