My students need professional presenters for their robotics and engineering presentations.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an incredibly diverse population. They come from many different cultures and backgrounds. I have many students that have a primary language other than English.
Many of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch; this allows them to have free or reduced cost breakfast as well, but they are not able to actually get to school early enough every day to utilize this opportunity.
They work incredibly hard and are very attentive. Most of my students are preparing for college, some directly for career, and a few into the military.
We are trying to create a community of tolerance, acceptance, and compassion within our school and our teams/clubs. The school is so incredibly diverse (Religion, Ethnicity, Socio-economic, Single Parent Homes, Grandparent Homes, etc), with many immigrants.
We have many of these immigrant families as part of our robotics and STEM programs and we try to create a new family for them within our town. We work diligently with these young people, many of whom are English Language Learners [ELL] and have left all of their friends at home to come here to the U.S. to start a new life.
My Project
Our students need to be able to make presentations. Most presentations in the real world utilize electrical clickers and other technology so the students do not need to be at the computer the entire time or to be walking back and forth at the computer.
The Robotics and STEM teams need these digital professional presentation clickers to be used during their presentations; real world engineers and business-people come into the classroom and watch their presentations on their robotics projects.
We need these clickers in order to help the students create better presentations. This allows them to move through slides or go to diferent screens. This is a new part of our STEM Academy this year and we desperately need new technology.
Thank you for choosing my project and I appreciate everything you do to help make our young people successful.
