Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Future artists need your support! The next Van Gogh or Pollack is patiently waiting for your help. Please help awaken the artists in my students. I am a veteran teacher in the Bronx. Budget cuts have almost eliminated art in school. My kindergarten class has not done any painting this year. It seems that the only time they get a chance to draw is when they are doing illustrations for writing or reading responses. Please help us to get some art supplies so that we can get art back into our class. There are twenty-six students in my class who all love to cut and paste, and color and draw and paint. All children deserve the chance to experience art and the arts. Thank you so much.
