This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students and staff will spend the year focusing on kindness. We are using the book "Have You Filled A Bucket Today" as our blueprint. Students and staff will learn about being a bucket filler, not a bucket dipper, and complete various activities throughout the year to help demonstrate these skills.

Are you a bucket filler?

Students get the opportunity to help fill buckets for staff and other students using these hooks and small tin buckets. It provides students with the responsibility for their actions and promotes excitement and joy. Students will be working on activities that we will be sharing and showcasing throughout the school.

With the book as our guide, students and staff will learn new activities to help promote both kindness and how to be bucket fillers.
