Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range from kindergarten to fourth grade in a turn around school with an extended day program.
English is a second language for most children.
Even at a young age, my students are some of the most compassionate people you would ever meet! Our students find emotional, behavioral, and academic success due to our dedicated support system. During our Physical Education class, the students love showing their high energy and are always looking for a new constructive way to use it!
My Project
My students love working out and learning about their muscles and ways to improve them! Starting the school year with an exciting new piece of equipment will surely continue to fuel their motivation.
Battle ropes are a huge craze in the fitness world and my students have taken notice of it when they are outside of school and wanting to try it themselves.
Battle ropes are a part of many new workouts, even by professional athletes. Since many students follow these athletes online and through social media, they are eager to try it themselves.
Even my elementary students want to train like the pros! I want to provide them with the opportunity to learn about new fitness workouts and continue to motivate them to improve themselves.
