My Project

Having some of these books will help my students see the different types of figurative language. Having the books allows them to do groups when reading the books. Being able to do groups will let students collaborate together to understand the different types of figurative language from their peers and not just from the teacher. Adding these books to the classroom allows students to listen and follow along while I read the book or when I have a read-aloud playing. Having the books will also let my class read them to lower grades so they can share their knew knowledge on what they are learning.
