Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Between 12-20 times per year, our students are asked to show their very best work and engage middle school students during various recruiting events. We have an exciting program and our students produce truly engaging displays for the younger students to experience.
Sadly, my students are regularly overshadowed at these events, by non-student-produced exhibits that are ultimately just displays of funding.
Our solution: secure funding for robots and teach our students to program them to do battle at recruiting events. With your help, we will show our middle school guests the full power of AHS's amazing programming team!
