Battle Bots: NLHS Robotics Team Part 1

Help me give my students the Robot they need to compete in robotics competitions. This is the first year we will be competing and we can not do it without this robot.

My Students

My students come from a rural school in a small town. A lot of our students come from economically disadvantaged homes. Most of our students are more interested in agriculture and FFA, but I have a group of students that are interested in beginning a Robotics competition team. Our school has fallen on hard times financially and they have cut the budget to my program 45%.

I believe my students can be very successful with this Robotics team, but if they can not get the funds for the competition robot we will not be bale to compete.

Students can benefit from these competitions by learning skills that will keep them employed in the Science and Technology business field.

My Project

These materials are vital to getting our robotics team off the ground. Without this specific robot we will not be able to compete in various robotics competitions.

My students will learn the ins and outs of coding and engineering through these competitions.

We will be given a task and my team of students will have to independently problem solve, construct, and trouble shoot the robot in order to have a successful tournament.

Without your donation, we will not be able to fund the team due to the fact that our school has cut our budget by 45%. It is not fair to the students who want to compete be unable to due so due to financial constraints.
