My Students
My middle school girls students are bright and eager to challenge their minds. They look forward to coming to school to learn something new every day. They love to read and talk about what they learn. I have a very diverse class and it's great to see my students learning from each other regardless of race, gender, ethnicity and social class. These students deserve the opportunity to expand their knowledge.

My Project
The JUGS Lite-Flite softball pitching machine will help my middle school softball team in a variety of ways. This pitching machine uses Lite-Flite softballs, they are soft and pain-free. Perfect for girls learning the fundamentals. This will allow them to build confidence in their throwing, fielding, and hitting without the fear of getting hurt. The JUGS Lite-Flite also has 360-degree movement for full-range fly balls, ground balls, and pop-ups. It's portable and easy to move and set up. The battery pack allows us to practice without the hazard of an extension cord running down the middle of the field.
It's raining and we can still have practice.
Since this pitching machine uses soft softballs, we can continue practicing or fielding skills in the gym on rainy and extremely hot days.
