Our students here at my school are eager and willing to learn! We teach at a low-income with almost the entire school with free/reduced lunch. They have the biggest hearts but sometimes do not show it in the best of ways. They come to school to be loved and we are here to do just that! We also strive to give them the best education by finding a lot of different ways to teach and to learn. I also think that these students deserve more than they have, which is why I chose to work and stay here!
My Project
Here at our STEAM school, we have a coding room with a ton of amazing robots: WeDo 2.0 lego robots, Botley the coding robot, Mouse robot coding, and much more! Unfortunately, we do not have enough batteries for each robot! And with more students coming back to school, we want to be able to have these robots 1:1.
With your donation of these double A and triple A batteries, we will have enough and more to save for all of our robots!
I am very excited to start coding with these robots after the students have learned how to code on Code.org. We are more than ready to get interactive and code robots!
