This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items will make a difference for our baseball team because they spend hours practicing every day. These practices come after long days of classes. We have games during the season that are both far and near. In addition to practices, travel is difficult too.

These young men are dedicated to the game.

They work very well as a team. They are developing strong relationships with each other and learning what it is like to be comrades on the field. They are learning about hard work, dedication, and good sportsmanship. These students are special because they have a love for baseball. They are student-athletes. They work very hard to maintain their grades so they can play.

The goal for this project is to have snacks and drinks for practices and game days. As growing young men, it's important for them to be well-nourished and hydrated. We want to promote nutrition on the field.
