Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach in New Orleans at a public school where a majority of the students come from underprivileged backgrounds. I am excited to welcome my students and teach them sports and engage them in fruitful playtime activities.

This is my second year at this school, I notice that our school is needing a lot of materials like footballs and basketballs for PE for the students.

I would love to teach the students how to play soccer, but we don't have any balls for the sport. I have a lot of female students who need to play and do exercise. We will be very grateful to you for helping us get these materials will be used daily and will help my students succeed!

My students are learning the rules, and we have teams to play with each other on the yard. Kindly help us get these needed materials so we can have FUN at school and enjoy playing with each other during PE time and recess. Many of our students are in special ed classes but we need them to be included while they play outdoors with their classmates.
