My Project

My name is Michael Jones, and I am the theater arts teacher for GLA in Chicago, Illinois. My specialty is choreography and staging. With this particular lesson, I plan to use the indoor and outdoor basketballs to teach approximately 200 of my 7th and8th-gradee students about the intricacies of staging and choreography. In this lesson, we will be recreating a basketball routine from the movie high school musical. These black and brown students don’t often get the opportunity to have excellence in arts education. Any support you would be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
