Basics to Brighten Our Work and Hands-on Geology, Part III
Help me give my students National Geographic STEM/Happy Atoms kits, coloring markers, card stock, storage bags, and Chibitronics animating LED circuit stickers to complete several STEM/STEAM projects covering 4th grade science content!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a phenomenal and motivated group of fourth-grade scholars. There are some with IEPs (Individual Education Plans), students new to our country who are learning English for the first time, scholars with various learning styles, and readers/mathematicians at various grade levels. Regardless of this, they all work extremely hard every day and love our paper-circuit engineering and cardboard/card stock construction projects. They love making geometrical models, and Makey Makey STEM Kit coding integrated with art, just to name a few of the maker ed and computer science projects we'll be working on this year. The resources requested in this project will help us complete many such activities.
My fourth graders will benefit from using all these resources in various ways: they will use the coloring markers to brighten their STEAM work; they will also light up their work with the Chibitronics animating rainbow LED circuit stickers; the National Geographic geology/Happy Atom kits will help them add more hands-on to our geology and chemistry units; and the card stock will be used to create posters or dioramas.
The Hefty bags will be used to store STEAM resources and also for students to take home their science work. And last but not least, our electric sharpener is dead and needs to be replaced.
