My Students

All of my students are visually impaired or blind. All of our students qualify for the free lunch program. Some are learning braille as a precaution. Some are braille dependent. Some have more sight but still struggle with visual issues.

They are all so thankful for anything that someone does for them.

They are truly my sunshine and remind me to appreciate life. We often make lessons from the project materials in addition to doing kind things for others. As a result, kindness spreads throughout our school and community.

My Project

These materials will help students learn to be more organized and use time more efficiently. The magazine holders will hold braille paper and books. The storage bins will hold various supplies, such as scissors, markers, and a lot of tactile materials.

Students will have their own box and will help label materials.

The magnetic containers will hold writing utensils used frequently.

We have a very small room and is vital to be be organized. This process will teach children to put items in specific place and to label areas. This is a necessary skill to learn if you struggle with vision.
