My Project
These items are basic supplies that help create a clean and organized learning environment. Small things like chargers help a student to access their learning if their chromebook is dead and they forgot their charger. Sticky notes can make learning fun and help students organize ideas. Expo markers (always go missing, no matter what you do) and are awesome for organizing ideas right on the desk. Giant sticky easel pads are great for group work and enhancing discussions.
It's tough to come across funding for basic supplies, and I can't afford to buy everything my students need to access high-quality instruction.
Our curriculum focuses on the American experience and American voices in literature. We read a wide range of texts to critically look at America and examine it's history. With our curriculum requiring a great deal of critical analysis and discussion, these basics will enable students to grasp the material on a much deeper and creative level.
