Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for considering donating to my classroom. I teach 5th grade math intervention at a rural Title I school in Texas. My students are hardworking, capable, and awesome!

Each year, the majority of my students do not bring the supplies listed on their school supply lists.

It’s a struggle to provide the necessary items to make my classroom run smoothly. This leaves me less money to buy items to reward students for good behavior and classwork. I’m a big believer in rewarding students verbally, with positive parent communication, and tokens.

The pencils and dry-erase markers will help students show their work. The wipes and tissues will lessen the spread of germs. Please consider donating to my classroom. Thanks!
