Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergartners are given many learning experiences in which they need to demonstrate their thinking in many ways. Students are able to express their ideas through pictures, words, and verbal language. The use of a variety of writing tools is needed in our classroom on a daily basis. We use whiteboards, highlighters, Sharpies, and of course pencils! Students need their basic supplies in order to be engaged in their learning.

We need to restock on basic classroom supplies in order for students to be ready to learn.

We use toolboxes in our classroom to develop a fast way for supplies to be ready for each student when needed. We are running very low on some supplies and some we have fully run out of. It is critical for students learning for them to have all the materials instantly, instead of finding ways to substitute for missing tools. When students have all supplies they are committed to expressing their ideas!
