Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from hardworking families, and many students are from hardworking new immigrant homes. Some of my students are the first generation of students in their families to be educated in the United States. More than 75% of our students are recipients of free or reduced-price lunch. This makes it difficult for student families to contribute supplies for learning.
My students are in need of paragraph practice books, crayons, and markers in order to start the new school year off on the right foot.
Each of these donated supplies will be waiting for the students in a shiny new pencil box provided by their teacher.
