Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of some basic supplies. Many of my student can not afford to provide supplies or have money to contribute to our classroom needs. Several of my students are new to our country and lack funds for basic materials. However, they still have a love a learning and love to have things to call their own. We are in desperate need of new crayon boxes. I feel if each kid had a container to place their crayons in they would last longer. I am also running out of composition books and with so many new comers coming in we need more so each student can have their own. I would also like to provide each student with their own plastic folder to hold all their assignments and unfinished work. We are also running low on Kleenexes, dry erase markers, and treats as well. All these materials will keep my first graders more organized and ready to learn!
