My Students
My students are becoming Super Readers! Even though most of my students come from backgrounds that haven’t emphasized education, we are working on changing that attitude. In my classroom, we embrace books, and we spend time reading books of our choice every day. We are inspired by each other's reading, and we share book talks and rich conversations about books.
My students are incredible young people who are going to change the world!
We have been reading books and stories about young people who have made major changes in their communities and even the whole world. I can't wait to see what each and every one of my students do for our world!
My Project
We need supplies to set us up for success this year! I know Kleenex tissues are going to be in high demand! We go through a ton in a regular year and this year will be anything but regular! Pencils are always a challenge and if students aren’t going to be able to share pencils this year, they’re going to be even more of a challenge!
Providing supplies for students takes away the stress of not having something and allows students to be more focused to learn!
I have been thinking of the ways we will use the dry erase sticky notes! Interactive graphic organizers in the whiteboard is what I’ve come up with! Then we can transfer the I formation to our anchor chart and reuse the sticky notes! The regular sticky notes will be part of our reading goal bookmarks! Thank you for helping us get these much-needed supplies!
