This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth grade students are today's scholars and tomorrow's leaders who are curious, enthusiastic, creative, and eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge! In addition to academics, our students practice making positive human connections with daily choices that support R.I.S.E.—Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence, and they are recognized monthly for demonstrating these character traits.
Every classroom needs basic essentials to support ALL students with their success and to create an environment where everyone can thrive.
I am requesting a class set of Crayola Twistables colored pencils, hand sanitizer, and ‘Power Pellets’ (Skittles) to reward students for class participation. The wands will help our math wizards engage enthusiastically in our newly adopted curriculum.
