Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Many of our students come to school without the basic supplies they need to succeed in middle school. We try to ensure that those who need supplies are given whatever they may need, but sometimes it is difficult to make sure we have enough so a class set to share makes more sense.

Our students will need poly-folders, pencil cases, headphones and pencils for math and STEAM class.

The poly-folders are study enough to last the entire year. Having the prongs means we can add papers inside to permanently store items we want students to keep track of for either the quarter or the semester and add to it as needed. The ruler tape is wonderful to place on the desk for a more permanent ruler that can't be broken or misplaced or used as a toy. We can also add tape to the edge of the folder for a ruler to go home with the students. The clipboards will be a class organization tool that will travel with each class from room to room.
