My students are the best in the city! They are curious and thoughtful and love exploring new ideas. They are self-motivated and are always ready to discover new things. My students are articulate and have amazing conversations in class.
I teach at a Title I school in New York where most of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite the hardships they face at home, my students are always eager to learn about the world they live in. They amaze me daily.
I am asking for ink toner and printer paper for the class. We do a lot of printing in our class. There is only one copier and only one person allowed to use the copier in the school. It sometimes takes a week to get copies back. I find it much easier to use the computer and printer in the classroom to print the things I need for my students.
I do a lot of differentiation in class and I find it much easier to print for my special needs students directly in the room rather than have to wait for copies to return to me.
I am also asking for the easy grip pencils for my students. They are much easier to hold and write for longer periods of time. They also last longer than normal pencils.
