My Students

My reading intervention students are amazing and many have overcome so much adversity in their short lives. Our school is a Title I school, and 95% of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, while 100% of my students are reading at least two grades below reading level. As a reading intervention teacher, it is crucial that I provide them with the most engaging and positive reading experience in order to get them to where they need to be with reading and have successful futures.

"What we learn becomes a part of who we are." The donation to my middle school will change students' learning experience.

My goal is to always create a positive learning environment for my students, and your donation will help so much. We really appreciate you.

My Project

For my project, I am asking for a few basic supplies to aid learning in my classroom. Because I teach reading intervention to students who are reading below their grade level, I have specific learning tools and materials for each student--these materials fit each student's need.

My students would benefit from supplies to help them organize their reading intervention materials for class.

The cart will allow students to get the supplies they need for reading class in an accessible way. Each shelf will have the specific materials for each class so that students can easily and independently get what they need for the lesson. Since I move classroom to classroom, the supplies will help students stay organized with their reading intervention materials--materials such as folders, independent reading books, writing utensils, dry erase boards, makers, and workbooks. Student also need supplies, such as a pencil sharpener and dry erase markers so that they can have writing materials when it's time for writing about their reading. This project will help students learn more efficiently and effectively because this will help with classroom management and our classroom environment.
