My Students

The students in my classroom have learning, behavior, and emotional disabilities. Our school is located in a low-income area. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. They range from living with one or both parents, to living with grandparents, guardians, or even in a shelter.

My students are challenged daily with attention & focus, behavior, social skills, academics, and emotional issues.

Because of this, having regular school supplies and remembering to bring them to school becomes a challenge all on its own.

I want my students to be able to come to school and not worry about basic supplies. I want them to be able to enjoy their time and learn to the best of their ability without fretting about anything.

My Project

My students are in need of some basic supplies to help with their success in the classroom. These materials are often times put on a supply list for the students to bring themselves. Because of low income and stresses of home life, my students struggle to be able to provide these items.

Resources such as calculators, headphones, and dry erase materials are needed to help my students learn in the classroom.

Math items such as the ones listed are needed by my students. Dry erase materials include white boards, markers, and erasers. We do fact practice on iPads and need headphones to use as well.
