Help me give my students basic supplies for virtual learning! We need pencil cases for supplies, primary journals, crayons, pencil sharpeners and pencils to show our thinking and writing!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school is a low-income, urban school in Baltimore City. I have an amazing group of 1st-grade students who are working daily to be independent learners. These students are given the chance to build critical literacy, math, and social-emotional skills in an early childhood center environment.
My classroom is a space where all students come to explore, learn, create, and grow.
I want to instill independence by giving students opportunities to work closely with each other and form learning spaces. I work to meet the needs of all my students and give them learning opportunities that fit their learning styles and needs.
My Project
These materials will provide my students with basic supplies that they need in order to learn virtually and eventually in person. These are all supplies that will be used daily for class. We will use these in all subjects throughout the day for classwork and independent work.
My students will need these supplies to succeed in virtual learning and when we return to the classroom!
These are imperative for them to be able to practice skills and show their learning. They will use these for daily writing, math problems, responding to a text, and social emotional learning and more!
