Basic Supplies Needed for My Special Education Classroom!

My Project

Aloha! I'm a middle school special education teacher in my third year as a teacher. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade special education students in Honolulu, Hawaii.

These supplies are the basic items I need to continue to create high engagement in the special education classroom.

Some of the supplies I need are so simple, like erasers and colored pencils. Others are items specific to my classroom that I put on a list when I realize I'm out or need them. Things like a cutting blade for my paper cutter to create fun activities in class. Other more obvious things are needed like paper plates and utensils for activities and parties in class. All the supplies go to engaging and valuing my special education students.

As a special education teacher, any time I can get students up and moving, it's a win for their learning. Hands-on is also key to engaged learning for my students. With these supplies, I can do just that! These specific supplies will help me engage my special education students.
