My students love to learn through engaging, hands-on activities!
I have 21 wonderful, energetic, and brilliant third-grade students.
They are all very hard workers and want to succeed in class. Our school is a large elementary school with approximately 600 students. We have a great staff and PTO that work hard to make sure our students have what they need to succeed. However, due to the size of our school and lack of funding, any extras in the classroom often come from the pockets of the teachers. This makes it difficult to provide all the things that are needed or wanted in the classroom.
My Project
The requested materials are needed for daily instruction and activities in my classroom. Pencils, tape, and whiteout are needed for students to use to publish their writing on a daily basis and to use in Reading and Math centers. Students will use the paint, brushes, and markers for art projects to make learning more fun and to complete culminating activities. We will be creating landforms and pumpkin book reports using the paint and brushes. We will also be creating ornaments at Christmas time and creating projects to go along with our multi-cultural Christmas Around the World unit in December this year!
