Basic Supplies for the Beginning Theatre Students!

Help me give my students a great start to theatre! The iPad will be used to video class work & performances for re watching. Fidget toys will be wonderful for anxious students. These books will profoundly influence students!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is a beginning theatre, basic learning model for 7th and 8th graders. We will be learning how to use our voice and move effectively as actors on stage and in front of an audience.

Students will learn the importance of being a part of an ensemble and develop their Social Emotional Learning skills through Acting, communicating and analyzing various parts in scripts and stories.

This is a 3 unit project culminating in a mini production.

We will be practicing learning lines, blocking, videoing our work on the iPad and downloading ideas for improvement and change, learning new vocabulary and rehearsing to eventually perform in front of a small audience. (Within the school and during the school day)
