Basic Supplies for Keeping Germs Away and Students in Class

Help me give my students alcohol-free hand sanitizer to help keep our classroom germ free this winter. They also need markers, table spots, cleaning cloths, and magnets.

My Students

My classroom is full of diverse learners. We have several students who are reading on grade level as well as below grade level. All come from different backgrounds and have a love of learning. They show up to school ready to learn and have active imaginations.

This class has many diverse needs, and I really want to help each student be successful!

Their many different personalities are fun, spunky, and energetic. I want our classroom to be as engaging and interesting as they are. By fostering a love of learning, I hope to inspire them to a lifetime of reading and learning.

My Project

Students learn best when they are in class. As most people know, classrooms are germ factories! I am hoping to keep my students in class by supplying some basics to reduce germs.

We are asked to have only alcohol-free hand sanitizer in our classrooms, but it is hard to find and expensive.

As a result, we currently do not have any hand sanitizer. I have had more students absent this year, and I am hoping that by providing BAC-D 630 Alcohol-Free Hand Sanitizer and Wound Care and Germ-X Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer with Pump for my students to use that we will have fewer absences and more time for learning. AIDEA Microfiber Cleaning Cloths will allow us to use the sanitizer to wipe down our desks on a regular basis without harming the environment.

I also want to ensure that each student always has a working Expo dry eraser marker of their own to reduce germs that happen when we share supplies. They will use these during small groups on the dry erase Table Spots that will be put on the small group table. The laminating sheets will also enable me to make templates students can use dry erase markers with over and over.
