Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for some general basics supplies for my students to use from day to day. My students have a tremendous need for supplies. I know these materials will be important to my teaching of history. We study history through time periods, and I color differentiate each time period, helping my students better understand the themes and ideas of the time period by associating them with a relevant color.
My students deserve all the supplies needed to learn.
We only receive $30 from our school for our classroom materials yearly. Most years, I spend thousands on student supplies. While paper and binder supplies may seem a basic necessity for most classes, for mine they are essential to the learning process. They are extremely hard working and deserve the best. I want my students to have the best. Seeing is believing. I whole heartily believe in them and us.
