In these days of budget cutbacks in schools, it has become harder for us to obtain supplies that our students need to function in the classroom. So often, we teachers are stressed over the lack of basic supplies that will help us our students learn.
Many students are unable to get the supplies they need.
Many of these are struggling families. It has become more difficult for students to come to school with the supplies that they need. These students are bright and excited to come to school. They need one less thing to worry about in their school career.
My Project
I have requested a heavy duty pencil sharpener, packs of pencils, individual pencil sharpeners and glue sticks to begin the year with! Please help us to be a successful classroom this year! Students will need lots of glue to help organize science notebooks. The students will be prepared to learn and be inspired if they have the necessary supplies. They have a lot to offer when they are given the chance to experiment, grow, and flourish, as children should. Many students do not bring the necessary supplies and having these things in the classroom is one less thing for them to worry about.
