Basic Supplies for Band!

My students need pencils, a pencil sharpener, binders, and plastic sheet protectors for class.

My Students

My students are all over the place! I mean that in the best way, too. I love to see them learn more about music. They all want to grow in their knowledge of different instruments. They love learning in so many different ways and I want to be able to provide for them various routes to learning music theory and music notation and music performance.

All of my band students work very hard and deserve the best, and that is all I want to be able to do for them.

My Project

People would be surprised to find out that some students come to school on a daily basis without the basic supplies for school. Pencils become a basic necessity for teachers to stock up on just so students will have one to do their work. Then, once they have their pencil, it always breaks and the pencil sharpener on the wall eats the pencil more than it sharpens it, so having an electric sharpener that is designed for high volume use will mean their pencils will sharpen faster and they will last longer.

In Band class, I try every day to teach my kids how to stay organized and to keep all the handouts they are given, so every student having a Binder with Sheet Protectors for their music is very important.

This will allow all of my students to have what they need to succeed!
