Help me give my students supplies we use everyday to enhance our learning. I teach thematically across all disciplines. We are allotted $10 per student for supplies for the whole year but that does not cover everything.

My Project

Thank you for considering my request for basic supplies for our TK classroom. I teach thematically across all subjects to create an immersive experience for our young learners. Getting them immersed in learning sparks their natural curiosity and helps develop academic language, imagination, curiosity and creativity naturally. We just finished learning all about insects, reading stories about insects, observing insects, sorting insects, counting insects, and created a mural wall of insect crafts and flowers. We are now moving on to explore everything we can about the ocean.

I save the student's projects and compile them in a memory book that is bound with 25 pages that becomes a portfolio of their progress and their work throughout the school year.

We are allotted $10 per student from our district for the entire school year. By the end of the year, the cupboards are absolutely bare. I would like to create a bit of a cushion so that I can use my $10 next year to replenish my supply of what was used before I run out of things. I have asked for construction paper, crayons and markers. These are the consumable items I am in need of most. Thank you for considering my project.
