My students need to start the school year off with a bang! By having the basic supplies needed, my students can begin the school year off worry free and in a nice, bright, and clean environment!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am a 4th grade teacher at an elementary school in Macon, Georgia. Our school is located in an urban community where many of the students live in low income housing and all of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
My students are wonderful and eager to learn.
They are very enthusiastic and excited to be a part of the learning process. They are eager to please and always tries their best to complete their tasks to the best of their abilities. My students enjoy being at school, and I love being their teacher!
My Project
This project will help each student begin the school year off with the proper school supplies needed to be successful in a 4th grade class. We just need your help in getting everything to our classroom!
Being able to give these supplies to my students will help them to better focus on their school work without worry.
Supplies such as paper, pencils, markers, and notebooks are vital to a student's learning. My students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand and not whether their materials are available or not.
I also want the classroom to look inviting and clean. Having classroom decor, such as border and fadeless border paper will help create a classroom that is inviting and conducive to learning.
