Basic Supplies Equals a Successful Start to a New Year!

Help me give my students basic school supplies such as pencils, pencil boxes, and spiral notebooks.

My Students

My students are a very diverse group of energetic, hard-working, empathetic 4th graders who come to school each day ready and eager to learn, despite facing challenges that are out of their control. Approximately 97% of our families are eligible for free and reduced meals.

I want to eliminate the financial burden of purchasing basic school supplies, and give my students the essential tools they need to succeed, and provide them with the opportunity and support to be the leaders I know they can be.

My Project

My students need basic classroom supplies! They need pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons, erasers, spiral notebooks, and their own pencil box to keep their materials organized and sanitized.

Imagine starting a new school year without basic school supplies!

My school serves one of the most impoverished areas in our district. Families have limited access to resources. Purchasing supplies for their children often creates a hardship on their finances. As a result, the majority of my students will start school with limited school supplies, if any.

It is likely that we will not be returning to school immediately in the fall. These supplies will not only help me follow ODE and OHA guidelines due to COVID-19 that require individual supplies for every student, they will also allow my students to begin the school year, feeling valued, prepared, and excited to learn, whether it be at home or in school.

These basic supplies would allow my students to start the school year in the safest way possible. All donations received will help set my students up for success! Thank you for considering my project.
