Help me give my students the supplies that we run out of each year. Our consumables become harder and harder to come by as our budget continually gets cut each year.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school’s art studio has been a joy for the children to learn and create in. The kids come from a diverse low-income high poverty community. Staff at our school work hard to provide them with a variety of positive worldly experiences, the arts being some of them. They have the opportunity to use and explore different materials that they may not have access to outside of school. So many of them respond to the arts in such positive ways and we want to keep this momentum going!
My Project
These basic supplies are difficult to get as our budget gets cut year after year. Things like glue, paper, markers, tape etc. are some of the materials that get used in almost all our projects. These consumable get used up very quickly and can be hard to replace when funds have been long spent.
Having these supplies readily available will surely make learning and creating in the art studio possible.
Children love their art making time in our studio. We need these basic supplies to create. With your donations we can have the basic supplies we need right at our fingertips.
