Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me have the basic supplies I need for students to learn. I need pencils and pens for when we work on paper. Most of these children do not have the funds for food let alone pens, pencils, markers, and Chromebook chargers. They are worried about where their next meal comes from.
If I was able to provide them with those things, then they would be able to study in class without worrying if they could pay for their food after buying school supplies.
I also have many special needs students in the class. We create many models using rubber bands and tape. This would allow me to help them visualize the material. The colored whiteboard markers are also nice because it allows them to visualize things in different colors and they can easily follow the material.
